Community Guidelines
Last updated: 27 August 2026
Zickr is built for real-world connection. These Community Guidelines explain how we expect hosts, guests, and community members to behave. They work together with our Terms and Conditions, Host & User Terms, and Privacy Policy.
1. Be respectful
- Treat others with dignity. No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate based on protected characteristics.
- Keep event chats and community messages relevant and constructive.
- Accept "no" gracefully. Hosts may decline applications; guests may leave events they no longer wish to attend.
2. Keep it safe
- Do not promote violence, self-harm, dangerous stunts, or illegal substances.
- Report suspicious or unsafe behavior in the App (event Report) or to support@zickr.app.
- Hosts must take reasonable steps for attendee safety at physical venues.
3. Honest events and profiles
- Use real information in profiles and event listings (time, price, capacity, dress code, age limits).
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation with brands, venues, or organizers.
- Private events must respect visibility settings. Do not share access links publicly when an event is private.
4. Media and privacy
- Only upload photos and videos you have the right to share.
- Approval (vibe) videos are for host review on Zickr. Do not redistribute them without consent.
- Ask before posting identifiable images of others in event posts.
- Do not share another person's private contact details or home address without permission.
- Do not share or misuse another guest's entry QR ticket. Screenshots of ticket screens may be restricted on device.
5. Payments and refunds
- Do not attempt to circumvent in-app payments for ticketed events.
- Honor cancellation, pull-out, and refund rules shown in the App; see our Refund Policy.
- Chargebacks without contacting support first may lead to account review.
6. Enforcement
We may warn users, remove or hide content and events from discovery, restrict creating or joining events for a stated period (suspension), or permanently ban accounts that violate these guidelines or applicable law. A permanent ban signs you out and prevents sign-in. Serious violations may be referred to authorities.
7. Reporting
Use in-app Report on an event where available, or email support@zickr.app with subject Community Report. Include usernames, event details, and screenshots where possible. We aim to review reports within a few business days.
Thank you for helping keep Zickr trustworthy and welcoming.
