Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (�Terms�) govern your use of the Zickr mobile application and related services (the �App�). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure.

2. The service

Zickr enables users to discover and create events, submit approval videos for host review, purchase tickets, chat with event participants, receive notifications, scan QR tickets at venues, manage host earnings, and related features. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding login credentials.
• Notify us immediately at support@zickr.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One account per person unless we approve otherwise. You may not evade suspensions or misuse multiple accounts.

4. User responsibilities

• Use the App lawfully and respect others� rights and safety.
• Provide truthful event and profile information.
• Obtain rights and consents for content you upload (photos, videos, music, etc.).
• Comply with local laws for events you host, including permits, taxes, and safety rules for paid gatherings.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not harass others, post illegal or misleading content, impersonate others, spam, hack or scrape the App, commit fraud, promote unlawful events, or collect others� data without consent. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts.

6. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Zickr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the App. We may moderate content but are not obligated to monitor everything. User content does not reflect our views.

7. Events, hosts, and guests

• Hosts are responsible for their events, pricing, capacity, cancellations, and compliance with law.
• Guests may need host approval (including vibe videos) before purchasing tickets. Approval is at the host�s discretion.
• Full venue addresses for paid events may be shown only after approval and payment, as designed in the App.
• Private events restrict visibility to guests who have the correct access (for example, an access code or host approval).

8. Payments and fees

• Ticket payments are processed by Razorpay (or our designated payment partner). Prices shown at checkout are what guests pay unless stated otherwise.
• Zickr charges a platform service fee of 3% of the ticket price, deducted from the host�s share of ticket revenue. The fee breakdown is shown before you pay or in host earnings.
• Host bank verification: Before publishing a paid event for the first time, hosts must provide account holder name, bank account number, and IFSC code. Details are verified by penny drop (Razorpay). Paid events cannot be published until verification succeeds.
• Host payouts: after an event ends, hosts receive their share of ticket fees within 5–7 business days, after deducting the platform service fee and payment transaction fees, to the verified bank account on file.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy and any rules shown at checkout.

9. Intellectual property

The App, branding, and software (excluding user content) belong to Zickr or licensors. You may not copy or reverse engineer the App without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided �as is� and �as available.� We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not responsible for third-party outages (Supabase, Razorpay, app stores, etc.) or for conduct of users or event outcomes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zickr is not liable for indirect or consequential damages (for example, lost profits, lost opportunities, or business interruption). Our total liability for claims relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) INR 5,000, unless a higher limit is required by law. Nothing in this section limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud where exclusion is unlawful.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Zickr harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the App, your content, your events, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risk to users. You may stop using the App anytime. Sections that should survive (liability, indemnity, governing law) remain in effect.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms and notify you via the App or email where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rights. Contact support@zickr.app before formal proceedings where possible.
