Host & User Terms
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These Host & User Terms ("Host Terms") apply when you create or host events, apply to join events, upload videos or other media, share locations, or otherwise contribute content on Zickr. They supplement our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. By checking the in-app agreement or publishing or hosting on Zickr, you accept these Host Terms.
1. Who this covers
- Hosts: users who create, list, or manage events, ticketing, payouts, or venue check-in.
- Guests / applicants: users who request to join, submit approval or vibe videos, purchase tickets, or attend events.
2. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate event details (date, time, capacity, price, rules, and cancellation terms shown at checkout).
- Obtain all rights and consents for photos, videos, music, branding, and other content you upload.
- Comply with applicable laws for gatherings you host (permits, taxes, age limits, alcohol rules, safety, and local regulations).
- Respect attendee privacy. Use approval videos, messages, and attendee data only to operate your event on Zickr.
- Do not discriminate unlawfully; any preference settings must comply with applicable law.
3. Content you upload
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Zickr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transcode, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the App (including approval review, event pages, chat, and moderation).
You must not upload content that is illegal, harassing, sexually exploitative, hateful, deceptive, infringing, or that exposes others without consent. We may remove content, hide events from discovery, and suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines.
4. Approval videos and applications
- Guests may submit short videos or answers for host review before payment or attendance.
- Hosts decide approvals in good faith; Zickr does not guarantee admission.
- Do not share, repost, or use approval videos outside the App without the creator's consent and applicable law.
5. Locations and safety
- Location data you provide must be accurate where required for the service (for example, discovery and directions after approval).
- Hosts are responsible for venue safety, crowd management, and emergency procedures.
- Zickr is not a venue operator and does not insure events unless explicitly stated in writing.
6. Paid events and payouts
6.1 Payout setup (required for paid events)
Before you can publish a paid event for the first time, you must add and verify your payout details in the App, including:
- Account holder name (as on your bank account)
- Bank account number and IFSC code
- Mobile number for payout setup
- PAN
- Address (street, city, state, PIN)
We verify the bank account using a penny-drop check through our payment partner. You cannot publish a paid event until verification succeeds. Free events do not require this step.
Details must be accurate. Failed verification, mismatched names, or fraud checks may block paid publishing until corrected. See our Privacy Policy for how we store payout data.
6.2 Ticket payments and host payouts
- Ticket payments are processed by our payment partner. Prices at checkout are what guests pay unless clearly stated otherwise.
- From eligible ticket revenue (gross ticket sales minus refunds already issued) we deduct a processing fee of 2%, GST at 18% on that fee, and a Zickr platform fee of 3%. The remainder is the host net payable.
- After an event ends, hosts typically receive net payable amounts within 5-7 business days, to the verified bank account on file, subject to completed refunds and any fraud or compliance holds.
- Refunds and guest pull-outs follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Refunds or disputes may delay or adjust payouts.
7. Enforcement
We may warn hosts, hide or remove events from discovery, withhold payouts during investigation, suspend create/join privileges for a stated period, or permanently ban accounts for serious or repeated violations. Suspension typically allows you to remain signed in while create/join is blocked. A permanent ban signs you out and prevents sign-in.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not use Zickr to promote illegal events, fraud, harassment, unauthorized data collection, or dangerous activities. We may cancel events, withhold payouts during investigation, and cooperate with authorities where required.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Zickr against claims arising from your events, your content, your conduct, or your breach of these Host Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes
We may update these Host Terms. Material changes may be notified in the App. Continued hosting or applying after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
